Broadcasting since 1999, Rutgers University Television Network (RU-tv) is the eyes and the ears of Rutgers University–New Brunswick, the flagship of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The award-winning campus network serves more than 40,000 undergraduate and graduate students, of which 15,000 live on campus.
RU-tv Network, a unit of Rutgers Communications and Marketing (R-Comm), offers a wide range of educational, news, public affairs, entertainment, and commercial programming, including eight channels of student-produced programs and more than 100 cable channels, accessible through traditional cable access and conveniently online.
Through RU-tv’s student employment program, internships, and living-learning community, broadcasting enthusiasts gain hands-on television production experience in editing, engineering, master control, and marketing.
On any given day, you'll find dozens of students creating and sharing RU-tv's award-winning programming for the Rutgers community. From writing content to editing video, RU-tv students do it all.
