The RU-tv Network offers more than 80 programming services on over 100 analog and digital channels. If you are using a standard television, our analog lineup includes 73 channels. We also offer several of the digital channels from the New York City market, including High Definition (HDTV) from the four major broadcast networks.
As we transition to digital delivery, we’ve added almost 30 channels of standard definition digital channels, including several international language services.
For those of you with digital televisions, RU-tv is happy to offer the free, over-the-air signals of the major network affiliates in New York City, including high definition (HDTV) signals from ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC. During set-up, select ANTENNA. Every television is different. Consult your manual for programming instructions.

These channels are available to both digital and nondigital televisions. During set-up, select CABLE. Analog televisions set to ANTENNA will not be able to get all the channels. Some digital televisions will search for digital and analog channels at the same time while others will require two operations. Consult your owner’s manual.
QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) is a standard digital delivery method for cable television. During set-up of your digital TV, select CABLE. These channels are all in standard definition (SD) although you may notice some test signals in HD as RU-tv prepares for future expansion. Consult your manual for programming instructions.
