RU-tv is available in all residence halls in New Brunswick and Piscataway, as well as student centers, libraries, and administrative buildings.

RU-tv offers an easy and budget-conscious outlet, enabling you to target your message to an audience of more than 37,000 undergraduate and graduate students at Rutgers–New Brunswick.

Underwriting Policies: All programs on the RU-tv Network’s university-operated channels are noncommercial. All advertising and underwriting must comply with the university policy on sponsorships, endorsements, and the acceptance of paid advertising, and with the governing policies of RU-tv. Download RU-tv's policies [PDF].   Advertising may however contain sponsorship credits with audio and video acknowledgment at the beginning and end of each program.

Specifications & Rates

Zone 1
The Rutgers Preview Channel (RU-tv Ch. 6) features ad space in the upper left-hand corner of the screen for clubs, organizations, schools, events, programs, and local businesses. 15-second ads run in a four (4) minute loop on Channel 6, each generating 360 impressions per day. Base rates apply for a one (1) week rotation. A week begins at 3 PM on Sunday and ends at 2:59:59 PM the next Sunday.

Ad Parameters
The RU-tv Marketing Department will design ads with at least one (1) week’s notice. Any and all information, logos, and background graphics MUST be submitted at least one (1) week prior to the ad running, or the ad will not be produced or displayed. For proper resolution, background graphics must be at least 472 x 360 pixels

Zone 2
The Rutgers Preview Channel (RU-tv Ch. 6) features ad space in the lower section of the screen for clubs, organizations, schools, events, programs, and local businesses. The Zone 2 ad will run for 15 minutes, and loop every hour.  A week begins at 3 PM on Sunday and ends at 2:59:59 PM the next Sunday.
