Broadcasting since 1999, Rutgers University Television Network (RU-tv) is the eyes and the ears of Rutgers–New Brunswick—the flagship campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The award-winning campus network serves more than 37,000 students, of which 15,000 live on campus.
RU-tv offers a wide range of educational, news, public affairs, entertainment, and commercial programming, including eight channels of student-produced programs and more than 100 cable channels, accessible through traditional cable access and conveniently online.
Through RU-tv’s student employment program, internships, and living-learning communities, broadcasting enthusiasts gain hands-on television production experience in editing, engineering, master control, and marketing.
